It sounds like a great group, and it's been a great help to her.

DannyDanny Alexanderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10895177352804665940noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21035353.post-86126386173954359002008-03-01T11:39:00.000-08:002008-03-01T11:39:00.000-08:00Hi Danny!I just wanted to let you know I have been...Hi Danny!

I just wanted to let you know I have been following the stuff you have been writing about Kristie and all that she has been actively fighting for. I think she is an amazing person for standing up and speaking out to make a difference for what she believes in. I listened to the radio segment and although I don't know Kristie personally I could sense her passion in her words. She is a very strong person to speak up. I have struggled all my life with being a bisexual person. I too have had to hear ignorant comments from people but unlike Kristie, I have never felt directly threatened by any of it. Unfortunately so many LGBT people do feel the threats and it really takes someone like Kristie to stand up and be heard. I hope she is able to make the difference on on her school campus that she is striving so hard to achieve. Maybe if you speak to her, you could pass along my thoughts and admiration for all that she is doing. And thank you Danny for covering this story. It definately needs to be brought to the attention of the so many people who are living and speaking thoughts of hatred toward LGBT people. It's time for people to learn tolerance and acceptance for the difference in people. If we were all alike in our ways, life would be pretty mundane. It's the diversity that keeps the world going!

Thanks
JennyJennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00102950749972937804noreply@blogger.com
